Hi all
I am new to Ant. I have some questions.
1. Is it necessary to add ant.jar to classpath of java task to run a program
which uses one ant class. Why Ant by default do not include ant.jar I use the very same classpath for compilation and running but when
running some class is not found.
Compilation works fine running gets the following error
[java] java.lang.NoClassDefFWhich XSLT processor does ANT use by default?
(I 'm using 1.5.4 with Sun JDK 1.4.1)

under ant 1.5.x i created a custom task that did some work with weblogic. i included the weblogic.jar in the ANT_HOME/lib directory and all worked well.

simple command like ant -version. Can someone please help.

dependency "full " attribute of the ejbjar task.
However when I add this an ejb that normally takes less than a minute to
build nowMy ejb 's are taking forever (21 minutes) to build when I use the feature
dependency full. Is this normal?

Here I 'm trying to remove the usage of commons-grant from Maven.
It 's whole purpose in life is to provide the Maven properties to an Ant
project. PropertyHelper looks like it could help us here but I I have a set of related projects which range in
complexity but all are built similarly to one another.
These projects can be built independently (they are
