We are upgrading from JDK 1.3.09 to JDK 1.5.06, and I am
getting "Invalid argument error" on load of the JNLP file.
When I click
on the URL for the JSP file which dynamically generates JNLP file, it seems to
download the JNLP file and web start launches. However, I get the above error
message along with location of JNLP file, and the file isn't in the directory it
said it was looking for. Did Sun change something in loading of JNLP file in
JDK1.4 and above? I also searched this forum for the similar error, and I found
one and tried their suggestion (setting response.setHeader("Cache-Control", "public")) but it didn't seem to work.
Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you very much.
